I love this quaint little bistro. Don't eat here without ordering dessert. The carrot cake is moist and light, and very satisfying without making you feel over sugared. On my most recent visit I had the pressed ciabatta panini with capicola. All the ingredients were fresh and the bread perfectly baked and toasted. I travel to Vero frequently and make a point to eat here.

I loved this place! This is a gem in Vero Beach. Met an old friend for breakfast. We enjoyed pain du chocolate (chocolate filled croisant), a cheese danish, and a pot of English Standard Tea. All of it was exceptionally good. Beverages and pastries consumed onsite are served on elegant china. Although I was comfortable in khakis and a polo, I think ladies would be just as comfortable in white gloves. With the addition of wi-fi this place could be THE place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch gatherings for professionals, retirees, and students.

I've been wondering when I could finally write a five-star review on Yelp. This is it! Without a doubt, one of the most memorable bakeries I've been to in the States. There isn't a false note. We started out thinking we'd grab a quick lunch en route back to Miami - but a delicious banh mi and chicken liver sandwich later, we weren't ready to let go. Coffee seemed like a good idea. So, we ordered two smooth and flavorful iced cappuccinos. Bravo. Which, of course, demanded pastry. A raspberry-filled hibiscus "bombe" followed. Then, some bread for "later" - a traditional baguette and a peach focaccia. Plus, some snacks for the drive. Almond florentine? Yes, please! Well worth the detour for anyone passing through or near Vero Beach.

Stopped in for a quick lunch the other day. Cute little place with lots of good lunch options. The breads and pastries behind the counter looked amazing. Will have to try those next time. I also want to try the coffee when we have more time to linger. It smelled nice and bold. I had the quiche of the day which came with a small side of greens, mainly arugula. The quiche was nice and warm. Not too heavy on the cheese. I at the whole thing, crust included. I usually skip the crust, they never taste good. Hubby had the turkey club sandwich, one of his favorites. He liked that it was roasted turkey and the bread was perfectly toasted. Nice, casual vibe in the restaurant. Staff is very friendly! Loved the brightly colored tables and chairs. Will definitely return!!

Wonderful charming cafe! I've been there 5-6 times now and it is consistently a wonderful experience. I love the croissants, quiche, lattes and dessert pastries. The staff is warm knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for bringing this perfect taste of France to Vero Beach. From one bakery owner to another!

Amazing!!! The place is adorable. Reminded me of Austin, TX. The food was delicious. I had a croissant with Turkey & Marmalade. The croissant was so flaky & buttery. Truly heaven. This is the place for big variety of fresh baked breads to go. My husband had the coffee and loved it. He also had the Pain Soleil scrumptious!
(5)Ken G.
My lunch today was dinkelbrot with sour cherries and hazelnut bread, green salad w/shallot vinaigrette, broccoli quiche. Dessert was a valrhona chocolate caramel truffle mouse (I ate that first). Ginger iced tea. Yum. The only complaint was actually finding the place. They are in a small location with no sign (that I saw).

Everything was delicious and fresh. My husband and I went here twice, the last 2 days of our vacation. We would have gone there every day had we known about it sooner. My husband said "it's like a high quality food in a lovely casual setting." The citrus aid is awesome. The pastries, the BLT, egg soufflé sandwich, and chicken salad. Omg! we loved it! Oh and I cannot forget the macadamia cranberry biscotti! You can certainly tell there is lots of TLC in Everything they are doing here. They have generous portions too! The service was just as good, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thanks Adam, Papa, and the sweet lady who brought our food and bussed our table.

Focaccia, Ciabatta, Croissant...OH MY!!! Delectable. Popped by here with the hubby during out honeymoon and it was tasty. We got the ham and cheese croissant. yumy. We took the Focaccia and the Ciabatta to go for later...great choice. Based on this aspect they should get 5 stars, however, we got a cappuccino too...disappointing...it was a latte at best. No foam. Oh well. Also we took some dessert to go...eh...they were a waste of time...I should have gotten another roll to go. Overall friendly service, nice location, would recommend checking it out.

This is a gem!! I grew up in Vero Beach, then moved away for the last 15 years. We never had anything this good growing up! Now that I'm back in town, I know I will be frequenting this place! We went there for the first time this week for a couple of desserts for my mother's birthday. Not much parking on their lot but plenty on the street. The moment you step in, you are taken somewhere else. If feels like a modern French bistro in Miami - bright, white, clean lines... It's all about the fresh aromas and sights. And it is a treat for the nose, eyes and tastebuds! We did not have the pleasure of tasting the coffee (we will next time for sure), but we did indulge in a few pastries, tarts, and small "cakes". What a delight!! My favorite was their tiramisu "egg", decorated in chocolate ganache (in the spirit of Easter), and my husband tried their Black Forest cake. Both of us loved our own treat that neither of us wanted to swap or share! They were not "too rich" or "too sugary". They were light and satisfying, my kind of pastry! My parents tried the Maple Pecan tart and a Berry Coffee cake. They both were also impressed. My 2-year old tasted a chocolate chip cookie and a cheesecake. He finished them both!! This place closes at 4 pm and we had arrived at about 3 pm. Many of their choices had already sold out. Next time we will probably come in for breakfast or lunch for the coffee and try a breakfast or lunch sandwich (they do have a full menu). The prices are definitely more than your typical Vero bakery, but that is because this is beyond your typical Publix, cardboard cutout baked goods factory. This is art! From what I understand, the chefs here strive to use organic and local ingredients as much as possible. I love that. :) I highly suggest that you stop in and try something. It won't disappoint!

I came in here today and I have to be honest. I didn't have a clue what to get and they recommended the Cuban sandwich "Delicious" highly recommended

I'm currently eating the most delicious croissant in Vero Beach. From the moment you walk into The Patisserie, there is a sense of something special. Upon first breath you'll be greeted with the aroma of fresh baking artisan breads and your eyes will feast on all the delicious treats. My personal favorite are the macarons, try the Orange Blossom! Sweet or savory, breakfast, lunch or coffee and tea, The Patisserie is surely the place to be!
(5)SO S.
Delicious - friendly servive - dog friendly patio with shade and comfortable chairs! Perfect neighborhood spot. Cool consignment shopping across the street.
(5)Kelly V.
This place is an adorable little French bakery with amazing local food and pastry. They do a great job keeping it authentic. Very creative soups and sandwiches but they are not really for most children or picky eaters. My favorite is the coffee bar. Great service, local roasters, fairly sourced coffee served by a true craftsman at the espresso machine. They serve single drip and French press coffee as well. Their pastry's are amazing. They make a flat coconut cookie that is sinfully good, and even homemade marshmallows! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!
(4)Mariela G.
I love this place! Breakfast or lunch, you can't go wrong. My favorite croissant is the almond. Everything is fresh and delicious. It's a clean, friendly and super cool environment.
(5)Rachael O.
Not to say I don't love the food here, because it was good, but it's pretty overpriced. My boyfriend and I got a drink and pastry each and it was nearly $20. This spot will be a once in a while treat for sure. I love the look of the place and they have outdoor seating as well :)
(4)Helen L.
Such a cute little place treats and a quick bite. It was bright and well lit, perfect for food pics! Service was quick and maybe a little bit rushed but we were only taking it to go anyway. I ordered the coffee cake. Moist in the middle and crunchy on top. looking forward to trying the other items next time I am in the area. Credit cards accepted through Square.
(4)Zulay V.
good coffee, AMAZING chocolate macadamia nut cookie. I don't even particularly like macadamia nuts, but this cookie was out of this world. It was huge, we split it between two. It was slightly crisp on the outside and cakey and dense on the inside. Deeeelicious, especially when dunked in the coffee :) the cafe itself was nice, small and clean. Very nice staff. I would definitely return!
(4)Kim D.
Quaint classy little cafe for yummy pastries & sandwiches. Quiche & coffee of the day was awesome. What a jewel!!! Love it & recommend & will return if I am ever in the area.
(5)Chadwick F.
Great Lunch spot. Food is exceptional. Pastries are to die for. Iced Coffee Bar gives you lots of options. Only complaint is its a bit cramped because it's so crowded, which is a ringing endorsement for the quality!
(5)ElÃsabet U.
We had been searching for an independent cafe with good coffee and found it right here. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great.
(5)Joan M.
Yes indeed this is the place! Awesome pastries, first class Java! Made the right way :)
(5)John W.
The baguettes are exactly right. The only other place I have found in central Florida with the right stuff is the Patisserie/Boulangerie at the French pavilion in Epcot. The secrets are a slow rise and a steam-filled oven, resulting in a hard crust and soft, dense, chewy interior with a bread flavor that beats anything else. This is nothing like what you get in other local bakeries. Proper baguettes must be eaten the day they are baked--they dry out quickly. However, they can be frozen (I cut mine into three sandwich-sized pieces), thawed, and heated on a cookie sheet in an oven for 4 minutes at 350F; following a few minutes of cooling they are as good as new. This place is a 2-hour round-trip from Melbourne Beach for me, but well worth it.
(5)Jason L.
I really don't give out 5 stars much, but this place totally deserves it. There's not much I can add, to this place's already stellar reviews, that hasn't already been said. They use organic and fresh ingredients, so the taste and texture of everything, is excellent. The staff here, is about as chipper and accommodating as they possibly could be, without being comically so. They'll also occasionally throw in a little something extra, if they think your bag is "too empty looking." This place is just excellent. My only criticism, is that the tables and chairs are perhaps a little too beat-up, to properly pull off the "vintage" look they seem to be going for. All-in-all though, this place and the people here, create an excellent atmosphere and the quality of the food/coffee, is second to none. I'd honestly put them up, against any bakery, of any type, anywhere. I'll likely become a regular, here.
(5)Patty G.
We love getting there early to find a treat for breakfast. George took some of their classes and had fun watching them at work. The pastries are wonderful and more than once you will hear about the granola or should I say 'crack' because it is very addictive. The biggest challenge to coming back to Florida from living in Seattle was finding good pastries and breads like you have brought to Vero. Thank you all for bringing your good tastes to VB.
(5)Andi B.
The food is amazing!! So are the staff!! I drive 40 minutes just to have lunch there. The bread the pastries....everything is so awesome!! Chef Mark also teaches cooking classes. I give this place 100 thumbs up!!
(5)Katie P.
Although the croissants aren't exactly "traditional" French, they are still SO good! The almond croissant is where it's at! I'll be a regular here for sure. Vero needed a charming bakery like this :)
(5)Charles D.
Great place, service was the best, coffee was excellent. Felt like I was in Europe in a coffee shop. The kids loved it.
(5)Brian Z.
Happy to find this place in Vero. I'm in town for the weekend, and though my last visit was 5 years ago, my memory was that good food and good coffee were scarce in Vero Beach. That may still be true for the city, but from what I saw this morning, Patisserie Vero Beach has both. We had drip coffee and pastries. The brea looked good and the cheese selection looked very good. After ordering 4 coffees to go, I noticed their Chemex/pour-over coffee menu and wished I had ordered the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe. But no matter--I'll be going back for more coffee and a banh mi. It's a common Yelp compliment to say "[small town establishment X] is a place I'd be happy to visit in NYC/Chicago/etc.," but I'm happy that Patisserie VB is where it is.
(5)Brian G.
Amazing coffee, even more amazing pastries. Try the almond crossaint and one of they're pour overs for breakfast; also they're quiche and sandwiches are delicious. It's a refreshing breakfast/lunch establishment that appeared to value quality in all it does.
(5)Chris C.
Customer service was excellent. We chose the most popular sandwich, the roasted turkey breast with a mango salsa (the menu said cranberry chutney, a seasonal change). For $10.95, we thought the sandwich would be big enough to share. Wrong. Little bit of meat with the salsa in thin slices of rye. No sides. Flavor was very good, but we left hungry, a little disappointed, and $17 lighter in the pocket after a fruit ade and a tip.

This little hideaway is exceptional. They are small, well staffed with polite and friendly people and the food is excellent and innovative. Highly recommended!
(5)Briana E.
Amazing! Everything is beautiful and fresh! A carb lovers paradise! Great coffee and a very friendly staff. This a true gem for Vero.
(4)Lauren C.
Awesome place and very high quality pastries, coffee, and tea.
(4)C W.
Fantastic experience. Intimate cafe setting tucked away off of downtown. Very friendly staff were awesome and let us swap a few ingredients on sandwiches to please the kids. Loved the seeded wheat bread and turkey, mango, and goat cheese made an awesome combination. Very glad we tried this. Can't wait to try the desserts next!

Tucked away in the old Vero Beach is this jewel, a culinary oasis of sweet, fresh and delicious baked goods, organic food, and tasty coffee. Bright, cheerful, and remarkably like a French bakery, Patisserie Vero Beach, serves handmade artisan breads, croissants, pastries, soups, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, cheese, delicious coffee and tea. We went for both breakfast and lunch, enjoying stuffed croissants, pain au chocolate, vegan sandwiches, and a vietnamese inspired sandwich w/ roast pork, pate, cilantro and more. On our first morning, a lovely young woman was sitting outside, enjoying her coffee and pastry, and as we were leaving said, "This is the best thing to happen to Vero Beach in a very long time." Just approx. 10 miles off the Vero Beach exit of I-95, Patisserie Vero Beach is worth the trip, your time, and certainly what could certainly be an added inch to your waistline.

Parking stinks but the food is to die for. Had the chicken liver and my friend had the egg salad. Got eclairs to go. Yum, must try!!!!
(4)Emily U.
This is my first review ever on yelp but I thought it was necessary to say that this was by far the worst Cuban sandwich ever Sorry but it's true that sauce was inedible. The only thing that rescued this place for me was the pastries. Those were good but that cuban ughhhh gross and a little overpriced
(2)Alla G.
Awesome place! We had something here everyday of our 4 day stay at Vero Beach. It was a bit out of our way but did not stop us from getting lunch or a delicious dessert, coffee or tea. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality, fresh and prepared perfectly. Everything was delicious, but some of the standouts where: tea cured salmon, Vietnamese Banh Mi and chocolate salted caramel tart. Bright, clean and very charming space to enjoy your breakfast or lunch, with friendly and attentive staff.

We were introduced to Patisserie Vero Beach by the owners of their neighbor, Kilted Mermaid. To hear two people, whose food opinions we respect so much, rave about another local business deserved investigation. Let me first say that we are "food people". The quality of ingredients, the responsibility of how they are sourced, and the thoughtfulness of how they are put together are extremely high on our list of factors when we choose a restaurant. Christian and Mark and the team at Patisserie VB are a perfect example of how good something can be when those three are done correctly. The interior vibe is very much like a Midtown coffee shop with an array of fresh breads, decadent pastries, and fresh sandwiches. My personal favorite is the Vietnamese Bahn Mi, a fresh made baguette with roast pork, pickled veggies, chicken liver pate, jalapeños, and fresh cilantro. My wife, however, has tried unsuccessfully on several occasions to order something besides their coffee-rubbed pork sandwich with Rogue Oregon blue cheese and onion jam on apple-walnut sourdough. Free wi-fi, comfortable seating, true baristas that can pour you a cup of regular coffee as quickly as they can make you a hand-crafted cappuccino, and a friendly neighborhood atmosphere make for a winning combination. Oh yeah...bacon chocolate croissants. Let that sink in.
(5)Alex S.
Awesome service with the best assortment of pastries in the area. Coffee is 5 stars and the interior feels clean and very open. Location is a bit off the beaten path but a true find!
(4)Season L.
Delicious sandwiches, great soups, and always a fun selection of macaroons! I thought the sandwiches were pricey at first but they are so fresh and the ingredients are quality... It's definitely worth it!!
(5)Michele D.
This place is absolutely amazing. We went twice in two days and five of the six chemex pour over coffees. Each one was delicious! I got the granola and the egg salad biscuit sandwich. Portions are small but the product is quality. My boyfriend got the tea cured salmon and it was some of the best we've ever had. On top of that the staff was attentive and friendly. Cannot say enough great things about this place!
(5)Lynn Morrison W.
Everything at this authentic Parisian bakery is quite excellent. The staff are very accommodating and the flavors are wonderful - whether you are looking for savory or sweet Parisian delicacies. The pour over Chemex coffee makers are made at your table for the freshest of freshly ground coffee's. Now if we could only get them over to the beachside as well. :) P.S. I wish they would make the cream puffs with a pastry cream option as well as the whipped cream.
(5)Sean S.
Baked goods and sweets are delicious. Clean and bright. Had a Kenyan pour over via Chemex- barista did only two pours which I wasn't excited about. Super nice though. Much needed in Vero!
(4)Polly M.
Amazing!! Awesome breakfast and lunch here. Artisan breads and baked goods using only the highest quality ingredients. Nothing else in town comes close to this! They have a Facebook page so you can drool over their posted photos and menu for the day
(5)Carly D.
Love this newer place in Vero! The pastries are delicious, the coffee hits the spot, and the loaves of bread are absolutely tasty.
